A Beautiful Place

“Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe to be a beautiful place.”

- Kurt Vonnegut

Josh+Amanda//Huntington Beach Wedding

Many have said that opposites attract and that one finds the perfect person that just balances them. Josh and Amanda are just that, opposites that compliment each other perfectly. However, I do believe that in every relationship there’s also a common connection that you find in love, where your other half knows your train of thought; finishes your sentences; and just gets it! When you see Josh and Amanda, they just get each other so beautifully.

Congratulations Josh and Amanda! Thank you for allowing me the honor of sharing a beautiful day.

I have always been an ardent fan of Reverie Online Magazine! This London, England based team artistically curates each page  of their magazine for inspiration. Not only do they inspire modern brides, they inspire the modern family. Thus, creating the Reverie Bebe. When I got Kate’s email about wanting to feature Avery’s 1st birthday party, I was doing the happy dance. I knew in my heart this stunning first birthday, designed by Avery’s crafty mom, Kim Landi, was a perfect marriage for this site. Thanks again Kate and Mary for the feature! Hello Naiyah

This newborn session has a very special place in my heart. (I get teary eyed thinking about it) When my eldest was born five years ago my dearest lola (grandmother) had passed away six months later. It was as if the heavens knew that I needed my daughter more than she needed me.  So in little Naiyah”s  nursery there was a darling picture on her bookshelf of her grandmother, Edgar’s mom, who had passed away. It was just the perfect touch,  the perfect detail,  to remember that she is one of God’s little blessings.
